The Crown Prosecution Service is recruiting a health, safety and facilities manager in Reading and St Albans. This post is temporary, however permanent opportunities may arise in future in line with business needs.

At the Crown Prosecution Service, we are responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales, the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is often emotionally challenging and complex. As health, safety and facilities manager, your responsibility extends to all aspects of health and safety and facilities management. You provide advice on internal facilities management and health and safety matters. You are responsible for liaising with the HQ health and safety and facilities management teams, providing accurate advice and support on health and safety matters and issues to colleagues.

We’re looking for someone who shares our values and commitment to public service and staff safety. It is essential that you have, or are willing to work towards, obtaining your Institution of Occupational Safety and Health / National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health certification to Level 3 NV (or equivalent) and Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management qualification and training.
