The Crown Prosecution Service is recruiting casework assistants to join our casework divisions and regional teams. Please note that you can only apply for one role – either casework assistant – casework divisions, or casework assistant – regional areas.

About the role
Casework assistants have a crucial role helping us to secure justice for victims of crime. You support our prosecution teams by preparing case files and serving documents for hearings in the magistrates’ and Crown Court. You are the first point of contact for the police and other criminal justice partners, working together to ensure all evidence and facts relating to a case are recorded. Your customer service helps to maintain public confidence in our work – you respond professionally to queries and ensure that any issues are escalated promptly.
