About the role
As Assistant Private Secretary, you lead a team supporting one of three principals: the Director of Public Prosecutions, Chief Operating Officer or Director General Legal Delivery. You ensure your principal is well briefed, has effective diary management, and is able to focus on strategic priorities. You report to the Head of Private Office and work closely with the other Private Secretaries supporting and ensuring link up to the other two principals in the team.
About you
We’re looking for someone with an understanding of working with senior officials or ministers. Experience building and maintaining relationships and effective networking with stakeholders across a department and externally is desirable but not required.
