Territory Sales Manager – Central (Birmingham & Surrounding Areas)

Do you have the drive to build strong client relationships with key trade customers, including independent merchants, decorating centers, contractors, and specifiers?
Then you could be our new field-based Territory Sales Manager here at Crown Paints.
What do you want to contribute to and be involved in?
- Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships.
- Account Management: Build and manage relationships with trade partners, contractors, and merchants to drive brand loyalty.
- Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities and proactively convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to tailor sales strategies.
- Product Knowledge: Provide expert advice on Crown Paints’ product portfolio, ensuring customers receive the best solutions for their needs.
- Commercial Negotiation: Manage pricing, contracts, and promotional activities to maximize profitability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical, and operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales performance, forecasts, and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
- Proven track record in a B2B sales environment, preferably within paint, coatings, or construction. However, please apply if you are an expert in a different sector!
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with groups and individuals.
