We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our fantastic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for demand forecasting, inventory management, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations to meet business and customer needs.

What we're looking for:

  • A good understanding of relevant business processes i.e. Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety.
  • Highly numerate/good product knowledge
  • Customer focused and aware of customer needs
  • Excellent Communication, Organisational & Planning Skills
  • Experience using MS Office packages, especially Outlook and Excel

Key responsibilities:

  • Mastering data monitoring and maintenance (BoM’s, routings, vendor master, ICD lead times, distribution lead times)
  • Ensuring that a valid MPS and Materials Plan exists with no past due orders.
  • Re-style/Re-livery control of BoM’s and stocks to minimise stock write-offs etc.
  • Co-ordinating Inventory accuracy of components (Cycle counting) to a level achieving 95% accuracy as a min.
  • Liaising with Hull and Darwen planning to ensure availability of product (BOM components) in a timely manner to allow plan and schedule adherence to achieve 95% or greater.
  • Liaising with production and scheduling to ensure finished product availability to achieve plan and schedule adherence above 95%.
  • Liaising with Suppliers to ensure OTIF meets the requirements for Vendor Rating above 98.5%.
