Are you ready to lead from the front and drive strategic growth?
Do you thrive in a role with autonomy, fresh opportunities, and the chance to shape a high-performing sales team?
We’re looking for an experienced people leader to manage our key Account managers and Contract Sales/Specification Managers across Wales, North West England and across the central belt. This is your chance to bring new energy, shape the strategy, and drive volume growth in a critical part of the business – with the support of a strong, capable team behind you.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
- Leading and coaching a team of Key Account Managers and Contract Sales/Specification Managers
- Delivering ambitious volume growth targets across the region
- Building and executing regional sales strategies aligned to wider business goals
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Merchants, CDC and more
- Managing your own portfolio of key accounts, developing senior relationships with national contractors, housebuilders, and large construction customers
You’ll know you’re succeeding when your team is engaged and outperforming expectations, customers are getting the support they need, and your strategy is embedded and delivering results.
Could this be your next role?
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is confident leading people and can balance support with stretch
- Understands how to implement strategy and drive performance through others
- Has strong commercial and collaborative instincts
- Can take ownership of customer relationships at senior level and lead by example
- Brings experience in a similar sales leadership or national account role – ideally within construction, coatings, or a related industry (but we’re open)
- Experience managing a field-based team and working with large, contractor-led accounts is ideal. A background within construction, coatings, or a related industry would be a bonus – but we value leadership impact over industry knowledge.
Who will you be working with?
You’ll report directly into senior leadership and work closely with peers across the commercial functions. The team you’ll lead is experienced and collaborative – they’re looking for someone who’ll champion their ideas, challenge them to grow, and support their success.
Does it sound like a match to you?
