Crown Paints are seeking to recruit a Store Manager to join our fantastic team based in Barking. The position is permanent, full‑time, 40 hours per week (Mon‑Fri, occasional Saturdays). In return, we offer a salary of £36,408 per annum + London Allowance + bonus + excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead from the front of the store, being a familiar and trusted face to customers.
  • Build relationships with regulars and prospect new business, offering service that stands out.
  • Set and achieve challenging sales targets, enjoy problem‑solving and drive results.
  • Shape sales performance and customer growth with autonomy and support.
  • Manage and motivate a small team, coach others, have meaningful conversations and support strong team performance.
  • Take ownership of stock: maintain control, forecast needs and keep the store running smoothly.
  • Involve in wider store performance, work with financial targets such as profit & loss, monthly KPIs and margin management.
