Overview
Crown Paints are looking to recruit a temporary Sales Assistant / Driver to join our Wigan store. The role is temporary, part-time (25 hours per week, Monday – Friday and some Saturdays on a rota basis). Base pay is £12.21 per hour plus bonus and an excellent benefits package. Your actual pay will be based on skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Assist the store team and support the Store Manager in delivering sustainable and profitable sales growth for Crown Paints.
- Contribute to achieving store targets, driving innovative yet effective sales with our range of decorative paints and sundry items.
- Identify potential new customers, establish positive relationships, and open customer accounts regularly. The Wigan Crown Decorating Centre serves a mix of one-off retail customers, builders, and tradespeople who hold accounts.

Who are we looking for?
- Strong sales/retail experience.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Confident making sales calls and driven to hit sales targets.
- Team-player and adaptable to meet customer needs; able to work independently when required.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to carry out daily delivery services for customers.
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
