Production Supervisor – Bilingual (English & Spanish)

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Bilingual Production Supervisor to join our Production team.

As a Production Supervisor you will play a crucial role in managing our production team and processes.

More specifically, the Production Supervisor will develop and deploy Team Leaders and Production personnel to ensure we exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise temporary agency and Crown associates.
  • Successfully interact, train, and lead a diverse group.
  • Train and develop Production Associate IIs & IIIs (Line Leads and Area Leads).
  • Supervise Materials Associates.

Perform required procedure, safety, and equipment training.

  • Conduct orientations for all new temporary associates and direct hires.
  • Perform required start up and end of shift procedures.

Conduct performance reviews timely.

  • Ensure machines and equipment are functioning properly. Inform maintenance of issues.
  • Promote area cleanliness and safety. Prepare required daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Set daily goals. Requisition parts and supplies for delivery to workstations.
  • Coach employees for professional development, potential promotion, and success.
  • Maintain established staffing requirements. Maintain timekeeping records daily.
  • Collect/review production sheets. Conduct disciplinary actions and counseling.
  • Ensure housekeeping/safety standards are followed consistently.
  • Establish/adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently with employees verbally and in writing.
  • Associate’s degree from accredited college/university preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment and prior supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in maintaining/enforcing/training OSHA safety requirements.
  • Able to perform basic math.
  • Ability to work and maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Enforce a harassment-free environment and promote diversity.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills.
  • Flexibility to provide coverage when needed.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed.
  • Involves standing/walking 8-10 hours a day constantly.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Able to work in a non airconditioned environment.
