We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join us at our Head Office in Bury and work on a modern, separate application built using Laravel and Vue 3.
This role is not a senior or lead position. It is suited to a developer who already has commercial Laravel experience and wants to continue building strong full-stack capability across backend, frontend and real-time functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain application features using Laravel
- Write clean, maintainable PHP and TypeScript
- Design and optimise MySQL queries
- Work with Laravel features including queues, jobs, events, broadcasting and package development
- Contribute within a test-driven development environment
- Build frontend clients that consume REST and GraphQL APIs
- Implement real-time features using websockets
- Develop user interfaces using Vue 3 (Composition API)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience working with Laravel
- Strong JavaScript experience
- Comfortable writing SQL queries using MySQL
- Understanding of relational databases and relationships
- Experience working in a full-stack development role
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- TypeScript
- Websockets (Pusher, Laravel Echo)
- GraphQL and Apollo Client
- PHPUnit and Test-Driven Development
- Docker / Docker Compose
- Vue 3 – Composition API
- Laravel package development
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
