Industrial Tank Cleaner
Crown Oil Environmental is looking for an experienced Industrial Tank Cleaner to join our specialist environmental services team.
This is a hands-on role carrying out industrial and fuel tank cleaning, confined space operations, high-pressure water jetting and associated industrial services across customer sites.
You’ll need proven tank cleaning experience, along with current High Risk Confined Space training and practical Breathing Apparatus (BA) experience.
What we offer:
- £30,000–£38,000 per year, depending on experience
- Company van provided
- 33 days’ holiday including bank holidays

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What you’ll be doing:
As part of our industrial services team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Industrial and fuel tank cleaning
- Working in High Risk Confined Spaces
- Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment
- Line and pipework flushing
- Tank and pipework decommissioning
- Basic pipework removal and cold cutting
- Shot blasting and painting
- Working safely at height
- Using Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Using gas detection and monitoring equipment
- Following RAMS, permits and safe systems of work
- General industrial and site duties
What you’ll need:
This is an experienced position, so applicants must have:
- Proven industrial and/or fuel tank cleaning experience
- Current High Risk Confined Spaces training/certification
- Breathing Apparatus (BA) training and practical experience
- Experience using gas detection and monitoring equipment
- Experience and confidence working at height
- Good understanding of RAMS and safe systems of work
- Ability to undertake physically demanding industrial work
- Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable qualifications:
It would be advantageous if you also hold:
- WJA (Water Jetting Association) qualifications
- CSCS Card
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- SPA Safety Passport
This role involves travelling to customer sites and periods of working away from home. We provide a company van, and when you’re required to work away, your accommodation is fully provided.
