We are seeking an MEP Commercial Manager to play a key role in the delivery of the Stansted Airport Transformation Programme, a landmark aviation infrastructure project. Both experienced Senior Commercial Managers and ambitious Commercial Managers are welcome.
Responsibilities- Manage all commercial aspects of a major MEP package, including subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Drive commercial, contractual and financial performance to maximise profit, cash flow and margin.
- Lead MEP commercial delivery through pre‑construction and construction phases.
- Support project teams and promote best practice across MEP delivery.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, contract reviews and business updates.
- Manage procurement, subcontracts, variations, claims and change control.
- Monitor project costs and overall MEP commercial performance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and wider project teams.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to support project delivery and risk management.
- Support budget setting and ongoing financial control from contract award.
- Develop junior commercial staff and support wider team capability.
- Ensure proper contract administration and escalate key commercial risks where required.
- Strong NEC contract knowledge within MEP and infrastructure delivery.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial Manager within the MEP sector, gained with a specialist MEP contractor or a main contractor.
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management).
- Member of RICS or working towards achieving MRICS status preferable.
