The Opportunity
Crown House Manufacturing (CHT) is the UK's largest off-site manufacturing facility, delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, pipework, steelwork, and volumetric modules to some of the most innovative construction projects in the country. We're looking for a Project Co-ordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, factory-based setting—someone who can manage projects end-to-end and keep everything running smoothly between design, production, planning, estimating, and commercial teams. This is a factory-based role within the UK's largest off-site manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules and maintain accurate tracking documents
- Review technical drawings and support pre-production planning
- Arrange and lead meetings with internal teams and project stakeholders
- Report on project progress, risks, and commercial performance
Procurement & Materials Management
- Procure materials/packages to suit a Just-in-Time (JIT) production process
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
- Support lean inventory practices and forward planning
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between design, production, and commercial teams
- Ensure technical requirements are clearly communicated and understood
- Help resolve issues quickly to keep production on track
What We're Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or M&E project coordination
- Exposure to off-site manufacturing is a bonus
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Technically aware—able to interpret drawings and understand M&E systems
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems or lean manufacturing practices is desirable
- Minimum GCSEs; further qualifications in engineering, M&E, or manufacturing are a plus
