ICT Project Engineer

Project based: NTT Data Centre, Dagenham. Duration: Permanent Role.

Our team's expertise in system integration provides effective and dynamic solutions to end‑users utilizing open protocols, with a suite of solutions and products that can be integrated with any open protocol system to provide a seamless path for integrating past, present and future building environments.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Project Engineer to join our dedicated, highly experienced team to work on major complex construction and infrastructure projects.

What will the role look like?

  • Consistent delivery of successful projects: Safety, Quality, Client Satisfaction and Profit.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Experience in a previous role of managing the installation of large IP cabling infrastructures, including monitoring progress, controlling install teams, quality and compliance.
  • Collaboration between all parties that sit on the network such as security systems, lighting control, Building Management Systems and any other client or third‑party IP systems that need IP connectivity.
  • Extensive knowledge in the installation and testing of large IT infrastructures, both on copper (Cat5, Cat6 and Cat6e) and all types of optical fibre backbone.
  • Working knowledge of current H&S legislation, IT standards e. g. TIA/EIA, ISO, BSEN.
  • Recognised technical / professional qualification e. g. BICSI, C+G, HND, HNC, Prince 2.
  • Ideally having network qualification such as Cisco CCNA along with manufacturers system accreditation installation and testing courses.
