We're looking for a Procurement Manager to support major projects within Laing O'Rourke. You do not need MEP experience or to be a subject matter expert; we can teach you the technical elements. What we do need is someone who can drive processes, challenge when needed, and keep procurement activity organised, structured, and on track. This role can be based at any one of our offices in Manchester, Dartford, Worksop or Oldbury. Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of best‑in‑class procurement services across a major project portfolio
- Implement procurement plans in line with project strategy
- Run and manage tender processes for subcontractors, materials, plant and services
- Contribute to market insight, cost advice and supply chain performance feedback
- Support and guide a team of procurement professionals
- Maintain clear, accurate procurement information and reporting
- Represent procurement in project meetings and reviews
- Build strong, ethical relationships with suppliers and subcontractors aligned to LOR values
- Champion innovation, DfMA, and opportunities for self‑delivery
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and procurement best practice
