About Us
Crown Home Buying and Letting (CHBL) is a fast-growing luxury lettings agency specialising in high-end properties across Central London. As we grow faster than the industry average, we are looking for a detail-driven Tenancy Manager to own tenancy progression and compliance across our portfolio.
Job Purpose
The Tenancy Manager progresses every tenancy from offer agreed to move-in, acting as the quality and compliance checkpoint before the tenancy agreement is executed. The role ensures each file is accurate, fully compliant, and that landlords are well looked after throughout the tenancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Tenancy Progression and Onboarding: Manage referencing, review reports, and arrange guarantors where required. Lead landlord onboarding and relets, and prepare tenancy agreements, terms and conditions and supporting paperwork. Liaise with landlords on any queries regarding the new tenancy and report on the referencing outcome. Check that every file is complete and accurate before the tenancy agreement is executed. Progress each tenancy securely and to the deadline, working with the negotiators, Lettings Manager and Property Manager.
- Legal Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the property, tenant and landlord are fully compliant before the start of every tenancy — covering Right to Rent (tenants), AML, KYC and sanctions screening (landlords), and property documents (Gas Safety, EICR, EPC). Serve all required statutory documents by the deadline, and ensure full compliance with the Renters' Rights Act and current legislation. Monitor regulatory changes and keep processes up to date.
- Landlord and Tenant Relations: Support the Lettings Manager in being the main day-to-day point of contact for landlords throughout the tenancy. Support the Lettings Manager in handling tenant queries.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential: Experience in lettings, tenancy progression or property management, ideally in a fast-paced agency. Strong knowledge of lettings compliance and legislation (Right to Rent, AML, deposits, Renters' Rights Act). Meticulous, highly organised and deadline-driven. ARLA Level 3 (or working towards).
Salary and Benefits
Proposed Salary Scheme: Base Salary: £35,000- £38,000 Performance Bonus
