The Marketing team at CROWN Bevcan EMEA is looking for a VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) as Marketing Communications Assistant. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is based at our site in Wantage, United Kingdom. Specifically, this VIE contract is intended for any EU nationals and offers a fixed‑term contract of 18 to 24 months (12 months maximum in the UK, which could be extended in another EU country for another 12 months).
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Marketing Communications Assistant to support internal and external communications in a B2B environment. The role plays a key part in delivering consistent, high‑quality messaging to customers, partners, employees, and prospective talent. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including HR, Sustainability, and Operations—to support campaigns, programmes, and communications around business activities and achievements.
The role focuses on creating clear, engaging written content for internal audiences, such as business updates, key achievements, and a recurring media‑monitoring newsletter, while ensuring all materials align with brand and messaging standards. Externally, you will contribute to shaping the company’s voice through blog articles, social media posts, award submissions, and presentations. You will monitor social media performance, identify content opportunities, support employer‑branding initiatives with HR, and contribute to sustainability communications. You will also assist with the creation of visual assets and support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, helping ensure deliverables remain on schedule.
A graduate from a Business School or from University, you have a master’s in communications/marketing, with already some experience or proven internships in a B2B environment. Excellent written English with proven ability to draft clear, concise, audience‑appropriate content. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Understanding of social media management, especially LinkedIn and B2B communication dynamics. Creative mindset with the ability to generate new content ideas and spot opportunities for engagement. Experience with graphic design (knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications is a plus). Knowledge or experience in video creation and editing for digital or social media content is a strong advantage. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities in parallel. Interest in media, communications and marketing trends.
