This Framework Manager role is to support our growing business, specifically in the East Region. The Framework Manager will be responsible for scheme delivery and management of allocated projects within the East Midlands and East of England. The role requires the individual to work collaboratively with National Highways and other suppliers to ensure schemes are delivered safely, to timescales and budget.
Responsibilities
- Scheme management and resource planning within the NH East region.
- Manage interfaces with traffic management contractors and NRTS to ensure smooth delivery.
- Manage appointed sub-contractors.
- Ensure that all relevant quality and performance data is captured for the contract to support company metrics and other contract requirements.
- Develop safe systems of work (including the development of Construction Phase Plans) and work as Principle Contractor when required.
- Develop relationships within the supply chain community ensuring that Crown Highways are represented on working groups as appropriate.
- Work with the Senior Operations Manager and the wider Crown Highways team to grow the business and develop new work streams.
- To carry out site safety visits, inspections and to deliver inductions and tool box talks.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 5 / HNC Construction Management or equivalent
- Full Driving License
Experience
- Minimum 5 years highways industry experience
- Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act

- Understanding of the importance of meeting client and customer requirements.
- Ability to develop professional relationships to help generate further business for Crown Highways.

- Flexible/adaptable to cope with the variety of work expected with the role.
