The Role:

You will join Crown Gas & Power as Marketing Executive at an exciting time. Working closely with the Brand Manager and the marketing team, you will support the vision to continually advance Crown Gas & Power’s marketing channels by delivering campaigns across brand awareness, internal marketing and communications, social media, email marketing, and events. The marketing department actively promotes Crown Gas & Power’s services and brand values to energy consultants and customers, aiming to position us as the preferred supplier for business energy. We are looking for a self-starter and true team player who is enthusiastic and passionate about all forms of marketing, with a drive to assist in the delivery and contribute to the creation of our marketing strategy. You must be highly organised and able to plan, execute, chase and report on your projects with the support of the Brand Manager. You must be proactive and adaptable to business changes, with the ability to prioritise your workload accordingly. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in marketing and will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Brand Manager and wider team on marketing campaigns, taking the lead in a selection of campaigns.
  • Be a brand ambassador and take pride in our style and tone and always be consistent.
  • Manage the company’s social media profiles and presences, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and any additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Contribute to the yearly content plan by writing blogs and proactively searching for new content ideas relevant to the energy industry.
  • Liaise directly with the Commercial team to proactively seek out case study opportunities and take the lead in writing and publishing these online.
  • Publish website pages and blogs and integrate their promotion into the social media strategy.
  • Take the lead on Google/Trustpilot reviews and create internal initiatives to boost them.
  • Conduct monthly reports on social media to provide insight, regularly recommending new initiatives and improvements backed by data to the Brand Manager.
  • Coordinate the capture of video content at events and internal activities, utilising editing tools to produce internal videos and promotional videos for multiple channels.
  • Support the wider business to create marketing collateral on an ad hoc basis and within tight timelines.
  • Deliver internal marketing campaigns with the team, including internal conferences, events, charity support and fundraising activities.
  • Construct and create digital and offline marketing materials using preset templates, adapting templates when necessary.
  • Provide ad hoc content creation to fulfil the wider business marketing requirements across multiple channels within tight timelines.
  • Cover other marketing channels when and where required to assist the team in delivering our campaigns.

  • Knowledge of WordPress.
  • Experience with email marketing and automation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen eye and attention to detail with the ability to proofread at a high level.
  • Proactive, dedicated, self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Desire to take ownership in your own work and time management.
  • Passionate about branding, tone of voice, and style, using the company Brand Guidelines and Content & Style Guide to ensure consistency in all marketing materials.
  • Highly organised with good time management.
  • Willingness to adapt to change and juggle multiple priorities.

Advantageous Skills / Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Canva and Adobe packages – Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator/Premiere Pro.
  • Industry experience (training will be provided for the right candidate).
  • Proficiency in analytics software and social media management tools.
