Our Capabilities department is responsible for ensuring that our business can operate effectively. Operating in a highly regulated industry, our business is subject to continual process and system changes, brought about by changes to regulation or legislation. Such changes, combined with our recent growth, have meant that our business has developed a suite of internally developed IT applications enabling us to comply with market changes, become efficient and above all, provide excellent customer service.
Reporting to the Change Lead, the Change Analyst will help facilitate internal changes raised by Change Proposers following our change management process.
This is very much a hybrid role fusing both Business Analysis and Delivery Manager skills.
You will be responsible for working with Change Proposers, determining the change requirements, documenting the functional specification, and overseeing the successful delivery of such changes by working with our IT Developers assigned to a change.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be confident at providing change updates to Change Proposers (and other relevant stakeholders) at any level. You will be the bridge between business departments and the IT development team prioritising changes and collaborating closely with stakeholders to define and deliver changes within agreed timelines.
You will also support the Change Lead with change management queries and tasks and ad-hoc needs.

Responsibilities- Engage and collaborate with Change Proposers
- Capture, understand, analyse requirements and produce functional specifications based on change requests
- Ensure documents and analytical work meets stakeholder expectations
- Ensure information is communicated and maintained in an effective manner
- Proactively identify and resolve potential problems
- Perform effective handover of specification to IT development team, software testing teams and any other relevant internal or external person
- Ensure that all management/stakeholders are kept informed of progress and any significant issues
- Perform effective version control management in all aspects of analysis/design output
- Prioritise tasks effectively and achieve delivery deadlines
- Deliver projects as part of a Stakeholder led Project team with support from the Change Lead, managing scope, dependencies, risks, timelines and resources
- Manage internal changes which have been assigned, ensuring successful delivery on time
- Highly confident, self-disciplined, and autonomous
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project/stakeholder requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and explore our wider business processes
- Well organised with good time management
- Proficient in Excel
- Basic SQL skills a bonus
