We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Sales Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that Sales orders are processed on a timely basis and ensuring that all equipment ordered is delivered and invoiced within forecasted month.
- Developing a thorough understanding of both Baan and of the Crown product range.
- Dealing with enquiries generated from the Sales force and keeping customers informed on delivery dates.
- Processing orders received from the Sales force, and booking the order onto Baan.
- Ensure the specification is correct and approved by the Manager.
- Ensure Baan order procedures are complied with.
- Raising invoices, and arranging delivery of equipment to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the Salesmen are kept aware of delivery times and that installation information is issued to the Service Department.
- Progressing Crown factories and external suppliers to ensure delivery times are met.
- Raising paperwork to ensure trucks are put through the workshop and that transport is arranged for delivery.
- Ensure that all Baan procedures are complied with.
- Handling and resolving enquiries generated from the field.
- Ensuring Salesmen provide finance documents and liaise with other departments within the branch.
- Supporting the Sales Administration Manager in the running of the department.
- Preparing Sales Back Orders report for manager approval.
- Ensuring that forecasted delivery dates are maintained.
- Passing enquiries onto the Sales team in a timely manner.
- Raising and maintaining correct files and paperwork for each order received.
- Ensuring that the sales file is complete prior to delivering the truck and passing to the service desk.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- Excellent all round mathematical and literacy skills.
- Fully understand and embrace the principles of procedures.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Administration experience within an office.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous Sales administration experience.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday – 8:00am to 4:30pm (with 1 hour unpaid for lunch) Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm (with 1 hour unpaid for lunch)
Target Salary: Dependent on experience
Holidays: 25 days holiday.
