Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16:30 (1 hour unpaid lunch); Friday 08:00am to 16:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch). Salary is dependent on experience. Holidays: 25 days holiday.
Responsibilities
- Interpret customer requirements for spare parts, assuring the part numbers are correct and the orders are loaded onto the Baan system.
- Analyse and evaluate back order reports and spare part requirements for open orders.
- Maintain good inventory housekeeping.
- Process and co-ordinate purchase and replenishment orders arriving, picking, packing and dispatching daily.
- Maintain appropriate administration and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a Parts Department.
- Good understanding of inventory procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in communicating with internal and external customers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word), Parts and Service manuals, Internet, and ordering software. Flexibility to work as part of a team and as an individual.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Baan software or equivalent package.
