Crown Energy is growing, and we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our market-leading utilities connections business. You’ll work as part of a close, collaborative team specialising in gas, electricity and water connections, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to quotation, payment and handover to operations.

This is a relationship-led sales role where you’ll manage warm customer enquiries, understand project requirements, coordinate quotations with internal teams and contractors, and keep opportunities progressing through the pipeline. It’s not a one‑call‑close environment. Projects can take time, requirements can evolve, and customers often need clear guidance throughout the process. Success in this role comes from strong follow‑up, organisation, attention to detail and the ability to build trust with customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing warm enquiries for gas, electricity and water connection projects
  • Gathering project information and understanding customer requirements
  • Coordinating quotations with internal teams, contractors and operations
  • Presenting quotations clearly and following up professionally
  • Managing your pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Building strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Identifying opportunities to grow customer accounts over time
  • Supporting a smooth handover to operations

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who is confident, organised and proactive, with experience in a customer‑focused role such as:

  • Sales
  • Account management
  • Sales support
  • Service advising
  • Project coordination

Previous utilities experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Full training will be provided. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, manage opportunities professionally and develop technical knowledge over time.

You will be:

  • Confident communicating with customers
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working with quotations, figures and project information
  • Professional and proactive in your follow‑up
  • Detail‑focused and accurate
  • Motivated by progression and long‑term career development

Why join Crown Energy?

  • Warm enquiry‑led sales role
  • Full training in a specialist industry
  • Uncapped commission and performance incentives
  • Support from experienced technical and operational teams
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • Collaborative team culture where people support each other
  • Established, market‑leading business with a strong reputation in utility infrastructure

If you’re looking for a role where you can build long‑term customer relationships, develop specialist knowledge and grow your career within a supportive and ambitious business, we’d love to hear from you.
