This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard worker with no cap on earnings. It is entirely up to you what you make and selling a range of world class products helps considerably. This suits someone very ambitious and at the start of their sales career, not the end. Full training will be given.

We are Crown Dental Burs Ltd, a very successful, family-owned dental bur supplier based in Hastings, East Sussex. We’re highly profitable and growing very fast with a reputation as the most knowledgeable in our industry. We are the exclusive dental partner for Frank Dental, a German precision manufacturer of over 4,000 specialist burs.

We’re looking for a very ambitious salesperson to take over and expand the territory in the Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Birmingham, East of England. Our USP is our expertise, and we never need to employ high pressure sales tactics. Our success to date has been purely down to educating dentists about our products and building bespoke, better bur sets that lead to higher standards of dental care.

You will be responsible for developing a partial existing area and this role is perfect for someone who feels they deserve more responsibility and recognition for the skills they have, is already working within the dental profession, possesses self-confidence and can build strong relationships. You will already understand dental terminology.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role that may, occasionally, include some evenings and Saturdays. An average day looks as follows: Your first sales call is by 9:15 am, but if you do not have appointments, you will spend the day making numerous field visits to both Dental practices and Dental laboratories. An average day of visits can be between 12 to 20, depending on your location, as you build your territory. The role is not designed for those who struggle with ‘no’.

The ideal location would be in the middle of the territory allowing you to access all territories. You will be given a great deal of independence and will be responsible for managing existing contacts too. Expert and comprehensive training on burs will be given when you start but will also be ongoing.

We require you to live in or around: Kettering (Northamptonshire).

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years dental sales or Dental nursing.
  • Ability to build relationships and maintain a regular call cycle.
  • Good understanding of Dentistry including Oral Surgery/Implants and Orthodontic procedures.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Good self-organisation skills and effective time management is a must.
  • Proactively pre-planning their diary on a regular basis.
Remuneration:
  • Excellent basic salary.
  • Excellent bonus and commission.
  • Pension (after successful probation).
  • 20 days holiday which increases 1 day per year to a maximum of 25 days.
