This role is a key part of Strategy, Policy and Governance within the Strategy Delivery Directorate. As part of the wider Private Office team, you will be working to support the Chair, Chief Executive, Board and Executive Committee to deliver the organisation's strategy. You will be organising meetings and logistics and building stakeholder relationships at all levels, supporting the smooth running of the governance in the organisation. Working with a range of teams across finance, HR and commercial, you provide efficient, consistent, and effective governance support, ensuring decision making is fully informed by and conforms to relevant standards, codes and frameworks.
- Experience in governance and/or a strong administrative background with a proven ability to plan, deliver and document meetings.
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to work independently and using initiative to solve problems and suggest solutions; and an ability to deal with changing priorities.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail, being able to present clear observations, conclusions and recommendations to the wider team that support effective decision making.
- Demonstrable communication, influencing and engagement skills, gained through working with a wide range of stakeholders and audiences.
- Experience of working at pace, planning and prioritising to meet tight deadlines, along with an exceptional level of integrity with a proven ability to deal with sensitive material.
Competitive salary, generous pension scheme, a discretionary non-contractual performance related bonus, working remotely in addition to working in advertised office location, flexi time scheme (available for B1-B6), and minimum 25 days annual leave to a maximum service related 30 days excluding bank holidays.
