An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Clerk to join our dedicated and fast-paced clerking team. We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in the legal sector to enhance and support our growing team. Are you interested in law and wanting to build a career within the legal profession? We are looking to recruit a highly organised, disciplined, and confident Junior Clerk to support our highly regarded, friendly and well-respected Barristers Chambers.
About the role
- Active monitoring of emails to ensure that queries or questions are resolved quickly and in a professional manner.
- Proactively raising potential or actual problems and addressing them in an appropriate manner.
- Ensuring that all daily or routine administration tasks are completed fully and on time.
- Daily checking of court lists.
- If requested, ensuring briefs and instructions are printed and delivered in good time.
- Accurate and timely forwarding of emails and passing on messages as needed.
- Assisting with incoming telephone calls, answering queries wherever possible and distributing calls accordingly.
- Providing other administrative support as requested and directed.
- Responding in a timely manner to minor fee enquiries.
