Are you passionate about excellent care for our elderly residents? we are looking for staff at a senior care level to join our team. Your role will include supporting our existing team to maintain safe administration of medicines to residents, maintaining high standards of care and well being of residents in a clean safe and comfortable environment. Engaging with other health professionals to ensure holistic care planning, undertake mandatory and supplementary training, mentor new colleagues, and share good practice.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for the safe and effective administration of prescribed medicines to residents to promote the best outcome for their health status, ensuring procedures are adhered to and medicines are available.
Responsible for self development and ensuring all mandatory training is completed as allocated and within the specified time frame.
Responsible for effective and informative handovers to colleagues and other health professionals to ensure continuity of holistic care.
Completing quality & compliance audits, staff supervisions & appraisals, and updating care plans to ensure they reflect the residents current needs.
