The Successful Applicant
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Self-motivation, ‘can do’ attitude and a professional manner
- Determination and drive to work to and exceed targets
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good business acumen
- Excellent attention to detail
- Literacy, numeracy and IT skills (minimum to GCSE level)
- Driving licence and own vehicle are ideal
The role
- High volume cold calling potential customers to prospect for new business (100 calls and 2 hours talk time as a minimum at the start to generate that pipeline). If you are not comfortable making high volumes of cold calls every day, please DO NOT apply.
- Use other means of communication to generate leads (Email, LinkedIn, Social Media)
- Creating detailed and accurate proposal documents
- Reviewing your own performance, hitting as a minimum but ideally exceeding targets
- Remaining compliant at all times
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and introducers
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- Consistently improve knowledge of the finance products we offer
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions
An overview of the sales process (summarised)
- Generate and qualify a lead from either a cold call, email, or social media.
- Collect the required documents from the business that requires the finance (bank statements, accounts, equipment details, requested terms)
- Write up a finance proposal which will then be sent to a lender on our panel
- Finance is approved by one of our lenders, then provide the terms to the customer in a compliant format
- Close the deal with the customer and sign paperwork. Deal goes live and we receive our commission
- Repeat
Good basic salary and generous uncapped commission structure. We have numerous 6 figure earners within the business and every employee has this earning potential! It really is up to you to write your own pay cheque.
