We’re looking for a friendly Front of House Assistant to work mainly in the pub/restaurant, with support in the coffee shop when needed. You’ll help deliver great service and create a welcoming experience for every guest.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve customers in the pub/restaurant and coffee shop
  • Prepare food and drinks in line with food safety standards
  • Open/close as a keyholder and help set up for service
  • Take deliveries, rotate stock and complete temperature checks
  • Answer phone enquiries and take orders
  • Clear and reset tables, polish cutlery and keep service areas tidy
  • Support end-of-day tasks (cleaning, waste logs, cashing up, lock up)

  • Friendly, reliable and customer-focused
  • Comfortable in a busy, hands-on front-of-house role
  • Happy supporting both pub/restaurant and coffee shop service
  • Previous hospitality experience helpful but not essential (full training provided)
