The Communications & Content Executive is responsible for producing high-quality written content for a range of internal and external-facing channels that support the firm’s commercial objectives. The role delivers consistent, strategic output across channels, often translating complex financial products into clear, engaging messaging. The role holder combines strong copywriting ability with campaign management skills and basic design capability, working within established brand and content frameworks to deliver at pace.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality copy for website pages, intranet pages, email campaigns, press releases and social media across all group entities.
  • Translate complex financial products and services into clear, engaging messaging appropriate for target audiences.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create events-focused content to target key audiences across channels, attending industry events where necessary.
  • Support the development of thought leadership content, case studies, and client testimonials in collaboration with the Commercial and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations, PR, and content colleagues to ensure digital properties are updated promptly following announcements and publications.
  • Update and manage web pages via the CMS (WordPress/ProcessWire), including landing pages, news and insight content, and Investor Relations announcements.
  • Write and proofread award submissions, working with PR agency partners to identify and target key industry awards.

Content Planning & Execution

  • Own and manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent and strategic output across all channels.
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns aligned with business objectives and key commercial priorities.
  • Work with Corporate Affairs and our agency partners to develop and stress-test messaging for a range of audiences, including journalists.
  • Build and activate multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and key commercial priorities across platforms including LinkedIn and Google Ads, with the support of digital marketing agencies where appropriate.
  • Script and produce video and multimedia content, identifying subject matter experts and coordinating production.
  • Work with internal teams to plan key messaging and content delivery in the run up to and during/after key events; liaise with external partners on events support where appropriate.
  • Use Corporate Affairs-produced insights and reporting to support content creation and outreach strategies.

Light-Touch Design & Asset Production

  • Adapt existing brand templates to produce day-to-day visual content at pace for a range of channels including social media, within established guidelines. Proficiency in InDesign or Canva a bonus.
  • Escalate design requirements that fall outside template-based production to design support.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, product, and compliance teams to gather requirements and deliver effective campaigns.
  • Work with compliance to ensure all marketing content meets regulatory approval and governance requirements.
  • Coordinate with IR and PR teams to ensure investor-facing and media content is consistent and timely.
  • Work with events organisers to ensure access to images and social media amplification opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education or equivalent professional experience. Marketing, communications, or journalism qualification desirable.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a content, communications, or digital marketing role, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality written content across multiple channels and formats.
  • Experience planning and executing digital campaigns across platforms including LinkedIn and Google Ads.
  • Comfortable working in Canva, InDesign or equivalent design tools to adapt branded templates for social media, email, and web assets.
  • Strong understanding of brand tone of voice and editorial standards.
  • Experience working with compliance and legal review processes desirable.
