Job Description

Working closely with the Group Chief People Officer, the L&D Manager will be responsible for designing and delivering a company-wide learning and development framework that enables growth, enhances capability, and drives performance. The L&D Manager will work closely with HRBPs, managers and team leaders to identify training needs which foster continuous learning across the company.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust, scalable L&D strategy aligned to business goals.
  • Lead the L&D function, managing learning programs from strategy to execution.
  • Partner with senior leadership and department heads to assess the company learning needs and design scalable solutions.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for leadership development, performance improvement, and career progression.
  • Manage and coordinate external facilitators and vendors.
  • Build and promote a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and talent development across all levels.
  • Collaborate with HRBP to integrate learning into broader employee lifecycle initiatives.
  • Stay current on trends in learning and development and technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
  • Establish KPIs and success measures for all learning initiatives.
  • Monitor effectiveness using data and analytics to track learning impact, engagement, ROI and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Relevant L&D Qualification.
  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, within a fast-paced or highly regulated environment, ideally financial services.
  • Ability to work strategically and hands-on.
  • Proven ability to design and implement impactful learning programs.
  • Proficiency in using LMS platforms and e-learning tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset; capable of measuring training effectiveness and reporting results.
  • Excellent facilitation skills to run in-house L&D programs.

  • Hybrid working
