Key Responsibilities of the Billing Assistant
  • Billing & Invoicing
    • Prepare and issue invoices across multiple revenue streams including retail, events, accommodation, and corporate accounts
    • Verify data from internal systems such as EPOS and CRM prior to invoicing
    • Maintain accurate, well-organised billing documentation
    • Investigate and resolve invoice queries, discrepancies, and adjustments
  • Revenue Reporting
    • Produce and distribute regular revenue reports
    • Monitor and analyse variances including cancellations, credits, and outstanding balances
    • Support month-end processes through reporting and reconciliation activities
  • Process Improvement & Systems
    • Assist in refining billing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
    • Identify recurring issues and suggest practical improvements
    • Support system enhancements, testing, and automation projects
  • Collaboration & Compliance
    • Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing queries and ensure smooth processes
    • Escalate complex issues where appropriate
    • Ensure compliance with VAT requirements, accounting standards, and revenue recognition policies
