Finance Administrator

Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 | Hybrid 3 days in office | Working hours 10:00am to 6:00pm | Central London

Main Responsibilities of the Finance Administrator role:

  • Receiving, processing and paying supplier invoices.
  • Cash book postings
  • Raising invoices
  • Reconcile supplier accounts, identify and correct any discrepancies.
  • Ensure costs are allocated correctly and recharged where applicable.
  • Obtaining all relevant financial documentation including remittances and backups.
  • Ensure invoices are paid in time and according to agreed payment terms.
  • Responding to and raising queries on time.
  • Develop supplier relationship and establish effective ways of working also actively build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels.
  • Month-end and weekly duties.
  • Maintain accurate supplier account reconciliations and purchase ledger.
  • Provide insights, data, and reporting.

Profile:

  • The successful candidate for this Finance Administrator role will need to have the following skills:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role ideally.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge, e.g. pivot tables/VLOOKUPS.
  • Proactive and confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Taking the initiative to explore issues and to generate new ideas and approaches.
  • Strong team player but also able to work autonomously and prioritize tasks.
