Crowhall Medical Group are thrilled to recruit a Salaried GP for 2 sessions per week. The role will be offered as a salaried fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. Funding for this position will be provided through the NHSE GP Reimbursement Scheme, and continuation beyond this date will be subject to the availability of future funding arrangements and guidance from NHSE. This post offers a new challenge to an established GP or the opportunity to flourish as a newly qualified GP.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our extremely supportive, friendly, sound, well-established, high performing practice as a salaried GP. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, dynamic GP to help deliver first class medical care to our patient population of around 6500. We are a multi-cultural, diverse practice and welcome applications from GP's from minoritised communities particularly practitioners who can consult in a second language.
Please note that the practice is not currently registered with the UK Home Office as a licensed sponsor and, therefore, is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care services to the practice population, undertaking a range of clinical duties in accordance with GMC standards and current best practice. Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting face-to-face, telephone and online consultations;
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions;
- Prescribing safely and appropriately;
- Reviewing and actioning test results, clinical correspondence and medication requests;
- Making referrals to secondary care and community services where appropriate.
The postholder will work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of safe, effective and efficient patient care. They will participate in practice meetings, clinical governance activities, quality improvement initiatives and service development as required. The role also includes maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using the practice clinical system, supporting continuity of care, and adhering to all relevant clinical, professional and organisational policies.

We are very lucky to have a large team of Community Link Workers (social prescribers) whom we work very closely with.
Our practice provides excellent care and excels in treating and caring for patients with long term conditions. We provide minor surgery clinics, joint injections, women's health clinics, menopause clinics, baby clinics, LTC clinics and much more! We are consistently high QoF achievers year on year which is all down to our great team and their work ethic. We had a recent CQC inspection and was rated 'Good' overall with a Good in all areas.

Qualifications
Essential
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GP Register
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice / Certificate Confirming Eligibility for General Practice Registration (CEGPR), or equivalent
- Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible
- Evidence of continuous professional development
