About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated part‑qualified accounting professional to join us as an Associate. This role sits within our dedicated Accounting & Reporting team, created to enhance the quality and efficiency of statutory accounts production for our Audit clients. As our Audit portfolio continues to grow, this position offers a fantastic development pathway for someone progressing through ACA/ACCA studies, looking to broaden their technical expertise while delivering meaningful value to clients and internal teams.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts, financial statements, consolidations and disclosures under UK GAAP, Charities SORP, Housing SORP and, where relevant, IFRS.
- Supporting Audit teams with accounting‑related queries, including liaising directly with clients.
- Helping to finalise statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
- Working collaboratively across departments to ensure excellent client service.
- Supporting the identification of areas of judgement, provisioning and disclosure requirements.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory and technical developments and maintaining your CPD.
- Providing general and ad‑hoc support to the wider Audit team.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Technical Competencies:
- Experience preparing statutory accounts in a professional services or similar environment.
- Familiarity with UK GAAP, Charities SORP or Housing SORP is desirable; IFRS helpful but not essential.
- Some audit experience is advantageous but not essential.
Qualifications:
- Part‑qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent), with study support provided.
