The Opportunity
Crowe UK is a leading accountancy and advisory firm and part of the global Crowe network. An opportunity has arisen to join our Customs & International Trade team in London. This is a delivery‑led, commercially focused role, offering exposure to complex, high‑value client work across customs, excise and CBAM, with a clear pathway for progression.
The Role
The Manager will take day‑to‑day responsibility for the delivery of multiple client engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high technical and professional standard. The role is central to supporting the continued growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a broad range of customs and international trade engagements, including:
- Customs classification, origin and valuation.
- Preferential duty reviews and duty reclaim.
- Customs special procedures.
- AEO authorisations.
- HMRC audits, reviews and disclosures.
- Excise duties and approvals.
- CBAM advisory.
Skills & Experience
- Typically 5+ years’ experience in customs and international trade.
- Strong technical knowledge across core customs disciplines, with experience leading client engagements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Experience reviewing work and supervising junior staff.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing fees, budgets and client relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Consultancy or professional services background preferred.
