Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of private client engagements, providing high-quality advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates.
  • Drive business development activity, identifying opportunities to grow the firm's private client offering through networking, referrals, and cross‑departmental collaboration.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex personal tax returns, inheritance tax planning, and related advisory work to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to the overall leadership and strategic direction of the firm as a member of the partnership.
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to the wider tax team, supporting the professional development of managers and seniors.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent), with significant post‑qualification experience in private client tax.
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop strong client relationships at a senior level.
  • Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, trust and estate planning, and inheritance tax.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with a desire to mentor and inspire those around you.
