Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns under the guidance of senior staff
  • Reconciling client records and working papers to a high standard of accuracy
  • Communicating with clients in a professional and confident manner to gather information and resolve queries
  • Supporting senior members of the team on more complex assignments as required

Requirements
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, actively studying towards full qualification
  • At least two years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Solid practical experience of accounts preparation gained within a practice setting
  • Good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage your own workload effectively
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
