A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Tax Director to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Fareham. Our client is a well-established and highly regarded practice with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates. As Private Client Tax Director, you will take ownership of a varied and complex portfolio, providing bespoke advisory services to a wide range of clients including high net worth individuals, partnerships, trusts, and non-domiciled individuals. You will play a pivotal role in driving business development activity, nurturing client relationships at the highest level, and mentoring and developing a talented tax team. Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing a complex portfolio of private client tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust work
- Driving business development initiatives and building long term relationships with new and existing clients
- Providing strategic tax planning advice to high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing junior and senior members of the private client tax team
- Collaborating with partners and other senior stakeholders to contribute to the overall growth strategy of the firm
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified, with significant post-qualification experience in private client tax
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing a team at a senior level
- Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, trust taxation, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax planning
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills, with a proven ability to win and retain work
