As Private Client Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a varied and prestigious portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates, delivering expert compliance and advisory services across a broad range of complex tax matters. Working in close collaboration with partners and senior stakeholders, you will also play a key role in developing junior talent within the team and contributing to the continued growth and success of a firm with an exciting future ahead of it.

Key Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of private clients including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates
- Delivering expert advice across income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
- Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and overseeing the compliance process
- Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships as a key point of contact
- Mentoring and supporting the development of junior members of the tax team
- Liaising with HMRC on client matters including enquiries and investigations
- CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong private client tax background
- At least five years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of private clients with technical accuracy and confidence
- Strong knowledge of UK personal tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident client-facing manner
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines effectively
