Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the preparation of self assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio of private clients
  • Supporting the team with personal tax computations
  • Corresponding with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries and routine compliance matters
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring deadlines are met across the portfolio
  • Developing and maintaining positive client relationships under the guidance of senior team members
  • Supporting senior staff with ad hoc tax research and advisory work as required
Requirements
  • ATT part qualified is desirable though not essential
  • At least 1.5 years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • A solid grounding in personal tax compliance within a practice setting
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications
