Our client is a well-established Chartered Accountants firm based in Bury, known for delivering high-quality audit, accounts, and advisory services to a diverse growing client portfolio. We are looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior to manage audit assignments, prepare statutory accounts, supervise junior staff, and maintain client relationships across multiple sectors.

We are not offering visa sponsorship. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and executing audit assignments from start to finish for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
  • Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements under FRS 102 and FRS 105
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact during assignments
  • Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax computations alongside audit and accounts work
Requirements
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist, with a solid grounding in audit and accounts
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, including FRS 102 and FRS 105
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships confidently
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
