Key Responsibilities- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and partnerships
- Assisting with the delivery of personal tax advisory services, identifying planning opportunities and communicating these clearly to clients
- Supporting senior team members with research and technical queries relating to capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and development of the private client tax department
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Solid experience in personal tax compliance, with exposure to a range of private client matters
- Strong working knowledge of relevant tax legislation, including self-assessment, CGT, and IHT
- ATT qualified or working towards ATT/CTA, or qualified by experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels
