As a Business Services Senior, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, management accounts, and assisting with business advisory projects. This role offers fantastic exposure to a wide range of industries and the opportunity to work closely with Partners and Managers who value initiative, collaboration, and technical excellence. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to continue building their career within a dynamic and supportive practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparation of management accounts and financial statements
- Liaising with clients and providing day-to-day support and advice
- Assisting with business advisory and planning projects
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Reviewing work prepared by trainees and providing feedback
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
