Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
- Supervise, coach, and support junior members of the audit team, contributing to their development and growth.
- Liaise with managers and partners to ensure the smooth delivery of engagements and the ongoing development of client portfolios.
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a solid grounding in external audit.
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively.
