Purpose of the role:
The position reports directly to the Head of the Sparks team, which manages the Innovation Platform Edison 365. The primary objective is to assist the Sparks Team in the development, training, communication, and operation of the Edison 365 Innovation Platform, as well as to facilitate the realisation of key business challenges. This role is essential for improving the usability, clarity, and strategic direction of innovation within the firm and will require regular site visits to offices nationwide. This opportunity is suited to a proactive and well-organised individual who demonstrates excellent communication skills, values collaboration, and possesses a genuine interest in innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of the Edison 365 platform, including but not limited to Forms, Templates, and Workflows.
- Manage and take responsibility for bugs, issues, and enhancements within the platform.
- Liaise with external support teams as required.
- Plan and deliver training sessions for various departments across the business.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions with different departments to support the advancement of specific projects.
- Take ownership of business ideas submitted through the Edison platform, coordinating with relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Manage the gamification features within the platform.
- Oversee access permissions and licensing for the platform.
- Create and maintain documentation related to the Edison 365 Platform.
- Assist in the triage of business challenges and ideas.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Power BI and support report creation and management for Edison 365.
- Respond to support tickets relating to Sparks on the ticketing system.
- Lead meetings with diverse groups and departments throughout the business.
- Deliver training sessions with various departments and personnel.
- Attend regular site visits at offices nationwide.
Technical skills, experience & knowledge:
- Excellent attention to detail.
