We are seeking a governance focused cybersecurity specialist at the Manager/Senior Manager level to join our dynamic and growing team. You’ll work alongside cyber security and counter-fraud experts, contributing to a growing team that supports businesses to remain resilient to cyber-attacks and respond effectively during incidents. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of cybersecurity engagements with different clients across a range of sectors.

This role is ideal for an individual with demonstrable experience deploying cybersecurity frameworks and governance practices to support businesses. It would be preferable, but not essential, for the individual to have some experience working in the financial services area, within the insurance or pensions sectors, either in-house or as an advisor. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our client’s cybersecurity strategy aligns with regulatory requirements and is appropriate for their business objectives.

The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge, governance expertise, and a collaborative mindset to strengthen our client’s cybersecurity postures and be prepared to respond in the event of an incident. You will manage your projects, working with colleagues and trusted suppliers to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity engagements.

The team delivers a range of cyber security services, helping businesses across a range of sectors to understand their cyber maturity, assess any weaknesses related to it and develop policies, practices and technical responses to manage and mitigate any areas of risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret cyber security concepts into plain English
  • Identify and assess cyber security risks at clients and recommend measures to manage and mitigate them
  • Draft cyber security policies and procedures to manage cyber resilience and respond in the event of an incident
  • Work with suppliers to identify vulnerabilities in software, systems and networks
  • Deliver training to clients
  • Assess cyber security risks across client’s supply chains
  • Project management and coordination of other team members
  • Preparation of high-quality client reports
  • Preparation of client proposals with Director/Partner
  • Coordinate with external suppliers
  • Participate in driving the team’s business plan
  • Manage key client relationships and explore opportunities to build our pipeline
  • Contribute to developing the team’s strategy and service offering with Director/Partner
  • Deliver a high standard of services to our clients
  • Help grow our network of key contacts (External and within Crowe Global)
  • Participate in the team’s marketing initiatives

  • Governance-related cyber security accreditations are desirable e.g. CISMP, CISM, CISSP, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Cloud+
  • Awareness of key regulatory and compliance requirements e.g. DORA, NIS2
  • Degree/Masters in related area
