Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Executive to join our London Transaction Services team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting pre-acquisition/investment due diligence activities for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and Reporting Accountant work on IPOs and subsequent circulars in connection with public company (Capital Markets) transactions in the UK and overseas.
M&A
In respect of corporate MBOs, acquisitions, sales and private equity transactions:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of these assignments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other internal departments (e.g. tax).
  • Prepare information request lists
  • Cross refers and check disclosed information against our information request list
  • Prepare comprehensive data book analysis based on financial information received
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of well-structured and concise due diligence reports

Capital Markets

  • Assist in the planning and execution of these assignments.
  • Interpret and analyse business plans and financial information on target businesses in order to understand the risks associated with the transaction.
  • Preparation of long-form reports, including analysis of historical trading performance and cash flow trends.
  • Preparation of working capital reports, including a detailed evaluation of the underlying trading, balance sheet and cash flow assumptions
  • Participate in meetings and presentations with clients and advisors.

Requirements

  • ACA qualified with recent experience in Transactions, Corporate Finance or Audit
  • Exemplary attention to detail and superior communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Showcase outstanding presentation, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
  • Possess commercial acumen with a strong team-oriented approach
  • Demonstrate a commitment to achieving positive client outcomes
  • Demonstrate ability to work with rapidly changing priorities and tight timeframes
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • The job is likely to suit a self-starter, with the energy to work to tight deadlines.
