You will be responsible for the delivery of client-based assignments, ensuring the team’s audit work and reporting is of high quality. This role will include leading and coaching team members as well as managing relationships with clients. The person in this role will also contribute to the success of our business unit, which will involve wider business and people development. Responsibilities Participating in the delivery of client-based assignments and leading audit work and reporting to a high standard. Leading and coaching team members and managing client relationships. Contributing to the success of the business unit through wider business and people development. Acting as part of a team or the first point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis. Assisting in planning, execution and finalisation of audit assignments, providing solutions and seeking input for areas of concern. Producing work for review by the team leader/Manager/Partner and highlighting issues with potential solutions. Demonstrating a solution-based approach to problem solving and researching delivery options for client assignments. Identifying areas for improvement in the client’s business processes and contributing to Audit Findings Reports. Managing progress against the audit budget and explaining variances where applicable. Willingness to travel to support other UK offices as required. Qualifications Studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification. Significant auditing and accounting experience (ideally UK GAAP). Experience with Non-Profits, pensions and corporates desirable. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ideally Caseware. A passion for client service and a keenness for personal development and career goals. Your Direct Client Responsibilities Acting as part of a team or the first point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis. Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills and proficient use of Excel and Word. Anticipating client needs and communicating effectively in written and verbal form. Acting with integrity and in the best interests of the Firm at all times. Assisting in planning, execution and finalisation of audit assignments, offering solutions and seeking input for concerns and judgement. Understanding risk management policies and applicable legal and regulatory rules. Considering and managing risk (reputational, operational and financial) in client interactions. Showing urgency and ensuring quality and accuracy in work to support client service. Producing work for review and clearly highlighting issues with potential solutions. Demonstrating business development skills and identifying additional sales opportunities. Adopting a solution-based approach and researching delivery options for client assignments. Identifying process improvements in the client’s business and assisting with Audit Findings Reports. Being aware of progress against the audit budget and explaining variances to the Manager.
