Overview: You’ll oversee taxation filing and payment obligations for partnerships and LLPs, working closely with tax partners on special projects and complex compliance work. You’ll also contribute to business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, execution, and finalisation of technical projects for partner or manager review.
- Provide solutions and seek input for areas of concern or judgement.
- Conduct technical research to support senior management, drafting reports and correspondence to clients and HMRC and clearly highlighting identified issues.
- Act as a role‑model for junior members, providing on‑the‑job coaching.
- Take primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget on projects, and when the actual differed from the budget, gain a full understanding with the Manager.
- Prepare timely WIP analysis and draft fees.
- Participate in service line, office and firm‑wide activities such as ongoing training, professional conferences and team away‑days.
- Line‑manage junior and training members of the team.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to work and team success, showing positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- Consistently treat colleagues with fairness and respect and help provide opportunities for everyone to contribute and succeed.
- Provide and be receptive to regular constructive feedback to improve self and others.
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge, coaching junior members through sharing experience and knowledge.
- Be actively involved in training and coaching junior members by involvement in all aspects of tax compliance and advisory work and providing proper feedback.
